The most memorable memory is most neighbours would have their door open so all the children would be running/cycling up and down the corridor and in and out of people’s houses and in the playground, all the children in the neighbourhood would gather and play there everyday.

The most significant part is the giant football field right beside the MRT, it was an open space and my friends and I used to play football matches there on the weekends. During election periods, rallies would be held there too and we would go down and watch the different parties and their speeches.

The most memorable memory is going to the library every weekend with primary school friends in the ’70s and ’80s because everything is free. At one point, we were obsessed with a book on ornamental fish (e.g. fighting fish) and would memorize the latin names of the fish.

The most memorable memory is playing at the playground after school with my classmates. We used to play hide and seek and Hopsotch a lot. After playing, we will head over to the nearby Mama shop buy our favourite snacks such as Biscuit Piring Wafer.
