Studied at Pei Tong Primary school and used to meet her best friend, Debby, every morning. They used to go to the Char Kway Teow stall below their block and used to bring eggs from their home for the uncle to avoid extra cost for their food. As they did not have phones back in the day, they would make a distinct loud whistle from the void deck to signal each other to come down and play.
